The Rohdea-adorned donabe, an elegant variation on the classic design by Doraku Gama, features the enduring symbol of longevity in its depiction of the evergreen plant Rohdea.

As one of the few remaining kilns producing hand-thrown donabe pots in Japan, Doraku, under the stewardship of its 8th generation head, Michiho Fukumori, makes a powerful statement by bridging tradition with contemporary life.
