One of the most iconic donabe clay pots in Japanese culinary art is undoubtedly this Kuronabe from Doraku Gama, reveiving widespread acclaim among professionals across Japan.

Originally designed for turtle hot pot, its dynamic form sets it apart from other hot pots. Its comparatively shallow shape keeps ingredients together in broth, especially softer ones like tofu.
