Mishima Plate | SUH-P001

A plate by Hiroyumi Suzuki in the mishima technique, where decorative patterns are inlaid into the clay before firing. The layered stamping covers the full surface, from the grid-patterned rim to the floral medallion at the centre. Suzuki uses mix of self-carved stamps and traditional Korean confectionery molds to create his mishima works.
