Donabe "Rope Handles" 19 cm | DOR-D008

This small flat donabe is the smaller edition of the iconic Kuronabe, originally designed for turtle hot pot by Doraku Gama.

Its compact size makes it perfect for serving a simple dish such as sakamushi or steamed dumplings.

As one of the few remaining kilns producing hand-thrown donabe pots in Japan, Doraku, under the stewardship of its 8th generation head, Michiho Fukumori, makes a powerful statement by bridging tradition with contemporary life.
